Welcoming Emily Diehl, LPC-Associate to Brave Haven Counseling, offering in person therapy in Dallas–Fort Worth & virtual therapy for all of Texas!
Brave Haven Counseling is excited to welcome Emily Diehl, MA, LPC-Associate, NCC to our team. Emily works with adolescents (16+) and adults, offering thoughtful, trauma-informed therapy for individuals navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and concerns related to self-esteem, body image, and overall well-being in the Dallas–Fort Worth area and across Texas.
Emily is supervised by Whitney Russell Stabile, MS, LPC-S, CEDS-C, EMDR Trained. She has experience working in higher levels of care, including Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) settings, supporting individuals with a wide range of mental health concerns. This background allows her to meet clients with steadiness, flexibility, and compassion—whether they’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about what comes next.
Emily has a particular passion for working with athletes, dancers, and high-performing individuals. Her work often includes support for:
Performance anxiety and perfectionism
Identity and self-esteem concerns
Sports-related stress or trauma (injuries, body shaming, or difficult coaching experiences)
Anxiety, depression, and life transitions
Relationship challenges
She also enjoys supporting young adults who are navigating the complexities of adulthood, offering a collaborative space to explore identity, direction, and change.
Emily’s approach is warm, relational, and grounded in understanding each client’s unique experiences. She integrates a trauma-informed perspective, recognizing how past experiences and environments can shape current patterns, relationships, and self-perception. Her goal is to create a space where clients feel safe, supported, and able to move toward meaningful change at their own pace.
At Brave Haven Counseling, Emily offers in-person therapy in Richardson, Texas, serving the greater Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) area, as well as virtual therapy for clients across Texas.
Outside of the therapy room, Emily enjoys reality TV competition shows, NCAA gymnastics, and 80’s music—bringing a sense of authenticity and connection into her work with clients.
